July 2012 IGRS web site has been down for about 2 years. This was due to a number of reasons domestic , technical and real work , work load. The front end of the web site will still needed to be redesigned and content updated over the coming months. In the mean time click the link on the left to the old web site which still has plenty of intresting content. Ron Jones Fleximounts are available at £6.50 each The Fleximount can be attached to any material, such as wood or brick. When using Fleximounts with small or large stone ballast the sleepers need not sink into the ballast to be held, but can sit on top of the track bed, therefore avoiding derailments caused by moving ballast. This is particularly useful when using the low profile sleeper type has those used on Peco & Tenmille 32mm track. Ballast Anchors are available at £2.50 each To
assist in damping further track movement, Ballast Anchors can be attached
to the track in exactly the same way as the Fleximounts, but are not
attached to a base and effectively just hangs in the loose ballast like
an anchor. Its recommended that Ballast Anchors are used in conjunction
with Fleximounts on the the less critical parts of the route. The Ballast
Anchor has the same shape as the Fleximount but has no spring aligning
mechanism so the cost are considerably lower than the Fleximount. NEW Joining Plate now available at £2.00 each
