URGENT IF YOU WISH TO CONTACT ME OR HAVE NOT HAD A RESPONSE TO A RECENT EMAIL OR AN ORDER PLEASE RE-EMAIL ME ON igrsys@gmail.com or on my mobile 07913785032

I am sorry to customers for stage delivery of Fleximounts and the additional delay. I have had to deal with the following issues lately.

  • Firstly considerable more customers requiring Fleximounts.
  • Issue with a component on the Fleximounts which is reaching its conclusion.
  • Considerable more work to my semi-retired part time contract which I am doing for an architect friend of mine in London
  • In 2008 II have moved the main part of the IGRS operation to Hertford (which I am only at most weekends). This has has caused the turnaround on Fleximounts & Ballast Anchors to be extended.

The iGRS Gateway Bridge

The iGRS Gateway Bridge has been developed out of necessity for those who wish to have a fully raised garden railway but avoiding the dog bone or simple end to end type of layout. The distance between the leg supports is 1.2M (just under 4') Each side can be lifted or lowered in seconds. The Bridge half's stay up automatically and by giving a short lift they are easily lowered. The middle rails are automatically aligned by two locking studs. The chassis construction is stainless steel with a high quality marine ply base; this allows easy assembly of any type of track on any centers. The entrance gap is sufficient to easily allow wheelchair access. The upswing mechanisms enable the two outer pivot points rail gaps to be zero and the central gap to as little as 2 mm. The bridge is suitable for all garden rail gauges i.e. O Gauge, 16 mm; Gauge 1 and G scale.
Price £595 (not including decking, chassis legs, track or delivery). iGRS will be taking the first delivery of the Gateway Bridges the first week in May 06.

Zero gap when closed

G Scale and SM32 track when bridge is fully raised

Center join could be as little as 2mm

THE FLEXIMOUNT SYSTEM

The Interlink Garden Rail System can be easily introduced into any established garden or landscape with little disruption. The system provides many advantages over traditional track bed methods and is designed to make it easy to plan and simple to build. It will remove the mystery and hard work from track bed construction, regardless of your garden type or terrain. It can be used on established lawns, sides of hills or any soft, rough, marshy or rocky terrain, it can even be used on existing brick or concrete base. It’s ideal for people who always wanted a garden railway but were put off by major permanent construction work and the considerable costs. The Interlink Garden Rail System will allow standard garden rail track to gently contract and expand, this results in an even movement throughout the layout, avoiding rail distortion under extreme weather conditions.

Because of its flexibility, it is quick and easy to lay a track across a lawn or through a flower bed for a temporary summer layout and can be made as permanent or as temporary as you wish. For example a different layout could be achieved each year with minimum upheaval because no initial major foundation work need be carried out. It is ideal for those who wish to have a system that can be easily lifted, should you decide to move house. If required it can be left in the garden for the winter and the entire track removed and stored. The system will allow the track to be easily placed back in exactly the same position once the warmer weather returns. Small stone ballast is required to give support to the track, provide realism and maintain good drainage.

The Interlink Garden Rail System fits most standard G Scale & Gauge 1, 45mm track and the 32mm narrow gauge track. These tracks are of the hollow recessed type, mainly produced by Peco, Tenmillie, LGB or Aristocraft.
